With an overall record of 15-15, the gaiterettes were nationally ranked for the first time since ’91. Led by QSSF All Star Cynthia Hitchcock, the team was coached by Rod Gilpin.
This year marked the first playoff appearance for the women since ’91 with a QSSF record of 10-10. Coached by Rod Gilpin, the team was led by sophomore Cynthia Hitchcock.
The women ended the season with an overall record of 4-21 under the coaching of Rod Gilpin. Led by QSSF second team All Star Kim Van Vliet, the team consisted of 7 first and second year players along with two third year players.
Coached by Rod Gilpin, the women snapped a 25 game losing streak by beating #7 ranked Concordia in the home opener. The team finished the season 2-10 and were led by Jackie Frost and Melissa Frankovitch.
The lady gaiters suffered a winless season and were led by league leading scorer and rebounder Alice Hartling, the team showed flashes of brilliance.
The women easily captured the provincial championship and represented Bishop’s at the CIAU Championship Tournament. They were led by All Canadian Cynthia Johnston and coached by Andrea Blackwell.
Boasting a 10-1 record, the gaiters clinched first place in the Q.U.A.A. under the coaching of Andrea Blackwell.
Coached by Andrea Blackwell, the ladies went 18-15 overall. A 67-64 overtime loss in the provincial final to Laval ended the season for the team.
The women narrowly missed out on attending the national championship due to a loss I the QUAA final against McGill. The women were coached by Andrea Blackwell.
Boasting an overall record of 24-4, the ladies were coached by Andrea Blackwell. An unfortunately poor performance in the playoffs kept the team from competing at the National Championships, where they were top contenders to win it all.
Coached by the QUAA coach of the year Wayne Hussy, Lynn Polson and Andre Blackwell were named All-Canadians, as the Gaiters win their second National Championship in as many years.
The ladies won the Toronto, York and McGill tournaments in addition to beating Concordia in the QUAA championships; becoming provincial champions. They went on to win the national title by beating UNB by 37, Brock by 18 and Victoria by 15. .
The team was ranked second in the ntion throughout the year and won the consolation finals at the CIAU championship tournament. Coached by Wayne Hussy, the team continues to improve each year.
The women placed third at the CIAU Championship tournament held in Regina. Coached by Wayne Hussy, Deb Hubband was named as an all-canadian.
The women won the consolation title at the National Championships. Boasting a 30-4 record over the entirety of the season, this was arguably the best Women’s Basketball team to date.
