The men finished the season at 3-3 in the Q.U.A.A. The team had an astounding average of 2500 spectators at each home game and were coached by Bruce Coulter.
Coached by the great Bruce Coulter, the team were Quebec University Athletic Association Champions. Butch Voce was unfortunately paralyzed in a game against Sir George McDonald.
Coached by Bruce Coulter and Al Grazys, the men lost only one game in the regular season at the hands of Loyola.
on November 14th 1964, the Gaiters took down the Ottawa Gee Gees in the O.S.L.I.A.A. final 32-12. Coached by Bruce Coulter, the team allowed only 8 points per game.
The team went 7-1 all year, with the only loss coming at the hands of Ottawa in the Championship game. Ewart led the league in scoring with 42 points and Somerville led in rushing yards with 768 yards in 6 league games. Bishop’s had 10 players on the eastern all star team under the coaching of Bruce Coulter.
Under the coaching of Bruce Coulter, the team went 3-1 in league play. The men practiced each day for 2 hours, which helped in their success.
It was announced the Bruce Coulter would come for the 1962-63 season to coach Bishop’s. The team played in the Ottawa-St. Lawrence valley conference, going winless in league play. The team was coached by “Beef” Ross. MVP went to Brock Thomson and Gerry Peterson.
The team had dominated the Ottawa-St. Lawrence ‘B’ Conference for the past 3 years, however, this year they went 1-3. A flu epidemic spread throughout the team, leading to the cancellation of two games.
The team went undefeated this season, resulting in eleven straight wins over the last 2 years. They entered the Ottawa-St. Lawrence Valley ‘B’ Section.
Coached by Gordon ‘Beef’ Ross, the team was the best Football team to date. They went 4-0 in league play and won the championship with a decisive score of 17-4.
Coached by MacSanders, the team was unusually small, however, their tenacity and pride lead them to be a force to be reckoned with in the league. They finished with a record of 3-2.
Coached by Hec Shields, the team went 0-3. Each game was very close and the score could have gone either way.
The team competed in the Ottawa-St. Lawrence Conference for the second year and went 3-4. The team received all new gear for the season thanks to donations from colonel Watson, Mr. Stearus and Judge Mitchell. Coached by Hec Shields, the team practiced under the floodlights due to science experiments.
