The team entered the Intermediate Intercollegiate Hockey League and went 6-3-1; finishing 3rd in the league. Hec Shields coached the team, which had great potential for the upcoming years.

Coached by Kelly Burnett, the team went winless in the Massawippi Valley League. The team didn’t practice regularly and had only 4 returning players from the ’47-48 team.
With Fred Byrne coaching, the team joined the Massawippi Valley League in addition to the intermediate inter-collegiate league. The team finished towards the top of the standings in each league.
Coached by Fred Byrnes, the team entered the intermediate Inter-College league; however, due to a lack of funds, the team had to leave the league. Instead, the team played exhibition games against local competition.
The team joined the intermediate Intercollegiate Hockey League and finished at the bottom of the standings. Coached by Sherbrooke native Mr. Wiggett, the team had a brand new outdoor rink to play on. There was an unfortunate Bus accident which caused many players to become injured.
The team played in no league and had no ‘home ice’ to play on. The team participated in many exhibition games against B.C.S. Coached by J.E. Poaps, the team showed tremendous pride on and off the ice.
A new three team league was created (Bishop’s, Bromptonville and St. Jeanne D’arc). Bishop’s ended the season 2-2, and lost to Bromptonville in the championship. Due to the war, the team was made up of Junior level players.
Due to many injuries and a string of men leaving to war, the team suffered a winless season. However, the team did manage to go 2-2 In exhibition play.
The team played two exhibition games against the officers of the Sherbrooke Fusilier Regiment, one against Granby High and North Hatly; all of which were won. Coached by Bar Westgate, the team had a supported season.
Regardless of War conditions, it was settled by the C.I.A.U. that Intercollegiate Hockey would continue. Coached by Gerry Wiggett, the team went 1-2 and failed to reach the post-season.

In the Sherbrooke City Hockey League, Bishop’s came second, losing to Sherbrooke Canadiens. The team travelled to Dartmouth college, losing an exhibition game 3-0. Coached by Gerald M. Wiggett.
Bishop’s won the Intermediate Intercollegiate Provincial Hockey Championship for the second year in a row. The team couldn’t win the local Sherbrooke County Hockey League; losing to the Sherbrooke Canadians in the final. Coached by Gerald Wiggett.
The team went 5-2 and won the Eastern Townships Hockey Title in a sudden death game with the Canadians (Amateur team from Montreal). Bishop’s came out on top winning 2-1 in an extra frame. The team took a trip out to Dartmouth College , winning the exhibition game 7-2.

Coached by E.X. Montague, the team joined the Sherbrooke-Stanstead League. Regardless of having no ice to practice on, they made it to the intercollegiate final, losing to Loyola by one point.
The team played in the Eastern Townships Hockey League and won the Quebec side of the intercollegiate series; losing to R.M.C. in the final game. Coached by Walter Smaill, the team had found long awaited success.
