Coached by Garth Smith, the team was finally able to take down Loyola after 5 years of losses. Although the team found success, their lack of desire to practice was their greatest downfall.
Coached by Garth Smith, the men had nine returning players from the ’67 championship team. They went 10-4 in the regular season, losing to Carleton and Loyola. They were lead by Peter Munzar, who set two new league records; scoring 1100 career points and most made foul shots in a regular season (86). The team has also won 27 consecutive games at home.
Finishing third in the national playoffs, the team won the O.S.L.I.A.A. championship. They went 15-1 in the regular season, and had unarguably the best defense in the league. Coached by Garth Smith, the men defeated Waterloo Lutheran 67-55 to clinch the bronze medal.
The team was the tallest to date and coached by Garth Smith. They finished the season with a 6-6 record.
The team finished the season in third place with an 8-6 record. Bishop’s’ defence was ranked third in Canada.
The team finished the season with a record of 9 wins and 5 losses. Led by Squee Gordon, who averaged 24 points per game, the men made it to the O.S.L.I.A.A. Finals, where they lost to Loyola. Garth Smith was coach and recruited heavily for the first time this season.
The men went 5-7 in Ottawa-St. Lawrence Valley Conference League play under the coaching of Garth Smith. The average height of the team was 6’2’’.
Under the coaching of Garth Smith, the men won their section of the Ottawa-St. Lawrence Conference. They went 8-0, yet met defeat at the hands of St. George at the finals.
Coached by Clark Kemp, the team was a respectable competitor in the Ottawa-St. Lawrence Conference. All games were very close, with the margin of loss being very small.
Coached by John Rochon, the team was led by Bob McMurray who scored an average of 12 points per game. The tem went 2-4 in exhibition play.
The team went 1-5 in league play under the coaching of John Rochon. The team was known around the league for their unique zone defence and was lead by Murray Greenwood, who averaged 10 points per game.
The team went 3-6 in the Ottawa-St. Lawrence Conference, losing many games by fewer than 5 points. Coached by R. Brown, the team was by far the youngest in the conference and showed much promise for the future.
Coached by Captain Cade, the team will all be returning for the 52-53 season. The team had a record of 1-3 in league play and 1-5 overall.
Coached by Bob Sullivan, the team had a brand new gymnasium to play in. The team finished the season with a record of 4-5, narrowly missing out on playoffs.
